E-Books at the Library

The Salmon Library provides access to numerous e-books. You can access scholarly monographs or anthologies of literary criticism as e-books through our Library catalog or our databases of e-books. Sometimes you may only need to refer to a single chapter from an e-book. Most of our e-book platforms allow you to download a single chapter, or the whole book, to your personal device.

You can find books (both print and electronic) through Primo Pathfinder, our search tool for the entire library catalog.

You can also find e-books through these databases:

Interlibrary Loan

If you find a book or article that you would like to use for your research, use Interlibrary Loan to get access to the book. If the Salmon Library does not have a specific book or article, we will do our best to get it from another library so that you have access to the resources you need.

To submit an Interlibrary Loan request, navigate to "Interlibrary Loan" under "Quick Links" on the Library homepage. Log in, and submit the information about your request.

Book requests arrive through the mail and may take several weeks for delivery. Article requests are emailed as PDFs, and may take up to a week to arrive.
