Databases when starting your research

Opposing Viewpoints in Context
A database that covers the latest controversial issues, and provides resources on academic journals, statistics, magazine and newspaper articles, as well as important organizations involved in that particular controversial issue. Select "browse issues" to get the full list of the issues it covers.
Primo Pathfinder
A great "mega" database that searches most of our content at once. It's a good starting point to get a sense of the library's holdings on a topic.
JSTOR
A database with a multitude of access to journals in the humanities and social sciences.

A Google that houses scholarly resources! Remember to link it to UAH library resources when using it from home. Under "Settings," select "Library Links" and search for UAH. This will allow you to link into full-text resources that we subscribe to here at the library.
