Policies regarding ETL equipment.

Borrowing ETL equipment

Loans for this equipment are limited to teaching faculty.

ETL equipment can be checked out at the User Services Desk of the Salmon Library. A Charger Card or other valid form of photo identification is needed to confirm the borrower's identity, and they must sign a form accepting responsibility for the equipment. Patrons will confirm their status as teaching faculty when borrowing items by signing the checkout form.

The borrowing period for all equipment is six months. Loans can be renewed up to three times dependent on demand. Only one item of each type may be checked out by the patron at one time. Equipment is available on a first come, first serve basis. Equipment cannot be placed on hold.

Fines and Fees

Patrons will not be subject to late fines for this equipment but may be held responsible for replacement costs if the item is returned damaged due to patron misuse or neglect. Replacement costs will be determined for each item based on the price and processing fees. This amount will be noted on the check-out form. There will also be a $15.00 fine for putting equipment in the book drop. Please return all items to the User Services Desk. 

Returning ETL equipment

Items must be returned to the Salmon Library's User Services Desk during open hours. Equipment may not be returned to indoor or outdoor book drops. Equipment will be inspected by library staff, and any damaged or missing items will be noted at this time.
