These are a list of search engines and databases you can use to find thesis and dissertations from other schools and from other countries. Some are specific to certain topics, regions, or university, while others are more general.
Note: Theses and Dissertations from other countries are not available for interlibrary loan. You will have to either buy a copy from one of the databases, find a free copy available online, or contact the author of the dissertation.
If you are an UAH affiliate (student, faculty, or staff) and would like to request a dissertation or thesis through Interlibrary Loan, there are a couple of things to keep in mind.
First, we are unable to process requests for international materials.
Secondly, some of the requests are made available to us as microfilm and will require use of our microfilm reader to view.
Thirdly, all other Interlibrary Loans rules and limitations apply.
