How to ... at the Salmon Library

Print
We have two Charger Prints kiosk (by Wēpa), one in the lobby and on by the OIT Help Desk, which can both print in B&W or color. You can pay for print jobs using a credit or debit card. Alternately, you can use your credit or debit card to create a Wēpa account. For more information, see the Charger Prints page at this link.

Scan or Copy
We have two digital scanners on the first floor capable of scanning documents of multiple sizes. They scan to a USB drive or send the documents to your email. (If you need to make a copy, scan it here first and then use the Wēpa printing kiosk to print copies.)

Connect to the Wifi
UAH uses the wireless network Eduroam in the library and around campus outside of campus housing. The username and password are your Charger ID and password. The first time you try to connect to Eduroam you may need to use their Configuration Assistant Tool available here. The guest network UAH Get Connected is also available in the library for guest users or if you need to connect briefly to set up Eduroam first.

Use a Library Computer
Log in with your Charger ID and password.

Check Out Items
For books, bring any you'd like to check out to the User Services desk. For all other items (except for those from Charger SPACE), please visit the User Services Desk. Items in Charger SPACE must be checked out and returned in the lab; for more information, please click here. To check out any item you'll need your Charger Card or valid photo ID.
