Additional Recording and Equipment Options - MultiMaker Lab

The MultiMaker Lab in room 115 has several first come, first serve options for recording and editing your podcasts. Additional information on the MultiMaker Lab may be found by visiting libguides.uah.edu/multimakerlab

In the lab, we have multiple computers as well as two USB microphones. These are available whenever the lab is open. Our computers all have Audacity available, as well as other recording options. However, because the lab is open during these hours, we can't guarantee it will be completely quiet while you're recording.

The MultiMaker Lab also has equipment available for checkout. Everything checks out for a 7 day period. We have:

  • 2 USB Snowball microphones
  • 3 Rode studio-quality USB microphones
  • 1 handheld Shure microphone with USB connector
  • 3 handheld Shure microphones (these require a USB audio interface to connect to a computer)
  • 2 tabletop microphone stands and 2 adjustable microphone stands compatible with Shure microphones
  • 3 USB audio interfaces (these will all work with the handheld Shure microphones)

These items can be checked out and returned in the MultiMaker Lab any time during our open hours. Our hours for the Fall 2024 semester are:
