EGR 101 (Engineering 101)

Information and resources for UAH students in the EGR 101 course (formerly ENG 101).

MATLAB

Chargerware.uah.edu describes MATLAB as "a high-level language and interactive environment that enables you to perform computationally intensive tasks faster than with traditional programming languages such as C, C++, and Fortran."

Within the UAH Library (LIB), MATLAB 2023a is available on the Windows PCs on the first floor.  (You can view the full software list for those PCs here.)

In Olin B. King Technology Hall (OKT), MATLAB is available on the PCs in many of the Engineering computer labs on the first and second floors. For example, you can use MATLAB in lab N204 as well as in other classroom labs when they are not otherwise in use: lab S208, etc. (Note that the computer labs on the third floor of OKT are operated by the Computer Science department, and may not be available unless you are registered in those classes.)

Currently (as of 09-Jan-2024), current UAH students (and faculty & staff) are eligible to download & install MATLAB. Visit Chargerware for more information, including instructions and the UAH product key.
