Scan objects of various shapes and sizes and turn them in digital 3D renderings or 3D print files. The resulting files may then be 3D printed on request (subject to 3D print fees). There is no fee to use the scanner.
There is a wide range of software available to create a 3D model. Below are some of the available options, and we recommend saving your file as .STL in order to 3D print.

3D printing and poser printing requires a completed form and the payment of associated fees before beginning the print. Print times are scheduled based on printer and staff availability and are only available for UAH students, faculty, and staff. Our printing fees are:
Fees must be paid before print job will start. Payments can be made at the User Services Desk using FLEX, check, credit card, or debit card.
If you would like to schedule a print job, you can download the 3D/Poster Print Request form, print it out, fill in the details, and bring it into [lab name] (LIB 115) to finish scheduling your job and find out about making your payment. Print copies of the form are also available in [lab name].
