Library Operations and Materials

The University of Alabama in Huntsville will be delivering classes remotely for the Summer 2020 semester. Further information about the campus as a whole can be found here: UAH Takes Precautions Against Coronavirus

The Salmon Library building is physically closed as of March 20, 2020 at Noon. It will remain closed until further notice. An overview of current services:

  • The library's many online resources are available for UAH students, faculty, and staff and the library continues to provide support for the campus remotely.
  • The due dates of materials still checked out have been moved forward until July 1. You can return the books to the book-drop located outside the library's front entrance. You can wait to pay fines until after we are reopen and able to accept fine payments more regularly. If you need help due to library fines or materials checked out, contact

Curbside Pickup

You can now request books for curbside pickup! We will be scheduling pickups on Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons, starting June 23rd. Requests can be placed through the online catalog on our website.
